MERCEDES-BENZ C220 CDI Avantgarde SE - October 2005 Immaculate Car with Comprehensive Service History Drives Faultlessly This is a really superb example of the top-of-the-range Avantgarde SE version of the C220 CDI. I have tried to show the condition of the bodywork and the interior in the photos, but they really don't do it justice...although the rain didn't help either. The leather is in virtually unmarked condition, the dashboard looks almost like new, and the bodywork only has the odd stonechip on the bonnet. It's hard to call the car anything other than immaculate. At 149,000 miles the 2.1 diesel engine still has a lot of life left in it. It starts without hesitation every time, and drives smoothly and powerfully through all the gears as you would expect. The automatic gearbox has a Comfort and Sport mode, and also allows you to flick through the gears if you want to stay in control. Mechanically the car has been very will looked after. All tyres are good, and all the brakes have almost new pads on them and the Mercedes computer is reading 5500miles until the next service. The car has been serviced at Mercedes or Merceds Specialists during its life, and it shows. I was very fussy when buying this car, and I am confident that anyone who views will also struggle to fault it. My growing family means that I need to be able to fit 3 car seats in the back, and the Merc simply isn't wide enough. I am generally looking for a straight sale, but will consider a decent sports coupe (TT 3.2 V6, 330Ci or something along the same lines) as a possible swap or px.
